Nothing says Fall like pumpkins. After carving and decorating for the season, what do you do with the seeds? Here’s how to roast and season pumpkin seeds. Enjoy these 5 flavors.
- Be sure to thoroughly clean the seeds. Wash them well and remove all the fibers. Once you think they’re good and clean, clean them once more.
- Gently boil the seeds for 10 minutes. This step is optional, but is sure to add that crunch!
- Season the seeds to your liking.
- Bake the seeds at 350°, turning every 10 minutes to prevent burning. They should be done baking after 40 minutes, once the seeds are firmer and no longer soft.

Basic – 2 Tbsp melted butter, 1/2 tsp salt, & 1/2 tsp pepper
Sweet – 2 Tbsp melted butter, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, & 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Spicy – 2 Tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp cajun seasoning
Italian – 2 Tbsp melted butter, 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/4 cup parmesan
