SAM RICHARDSON

CREATOR • STORYTELLER • SPEAKER

YOUR FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL TRAUMA QUEEN

A little unfiltered. A lot to say.

A little unfiltered. A lot to say.

Turning trauma into storytelling, silence into advocacy, and oversharing into a career.

Hey, I'm Sam Richardson, a bereaved mother living with Complex PTSD, storyteller, speaker, content creator, advocate, and self-appointed Professional Trauma Queen.

I've lived through the kinds of experiences people don't always know how to talk about. From losing my daughter to navigating complex trauma, motherhood, mental health, and everything in between, I've learned that silence doesn't make the hard stuff disappear.

So, I started talking about it.

And somewhere along the way, I turned my lived experiences, dark humor, and inability to keep my mouth shut into a career. I didn't choose the trauma, but I sure as hell chose what to do with my voice.

Today, I use my platform to challenge stigma, amplify overlooked voices, and connect personal stories to the bigger conversations happening in our communities; from mental health and reproductive rights to politics and social justice.

Sometimes I'm behind a microphone. Sometimes I'm on a stage. Sometimes I'm ranting on the internet.

It's called range, baby.

Welcome to Living Richardson. Come for the chaos, stay for the conversation.

So, What Exactly Do I Do?

I’m so glad you asked….

Some people have a niche. I have a microphone, a mission, and a medically impressive amount of things to say.

Through podcasting, digital media, and personal storytelling, I turn lived experiences into conversations that connect, challenge, and inspire.

I TELL STORIES.

I use my platform to amplify overlooked voices, unpack the issues affecting our communities, and make advocacy accessible, relatable, and occasionally hilarious.

I MAKE NOISE

From conferences and community conversations to creative partnerships and campaigns, I bring authenticity, humor, and lived experience to every room.

I SHOW UP

The Silent Mother Project

*A Living Richardson Project

Where personal stories meet public change.

The Silent Mother Project began with my own experiences of motherhood, grief, and trauma, and the realization that the stories we struggle to tell are often the ones that connect us most.

What started as a space to break the silence has grown into a podcast and community storytelling initiative dedicated to amplifying voices, challenging stigma, and connecting lived experiences with the bigger conversations shaping our communities.

Through honest conversations, meaningful partnerships, and occasional community gatherings, I bring people, organizations, and civic leaders together to bridge the gap between personal experiences and public policy.

Because sharing our stories is powerful, but making sure those stories are heard?

That's how we begin creating change.

Turns Out, People Are Listening.

What started as sharing my story has opened doors I never imagined. From national creator spaces to advocacy conversations and community stages, I've learned that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is refuse to stay quiet.

Podcast Collaborations

Got a story worth telling, a cause worth amplifying, or an event that could use a little more personality?

I'm always looking for opportunities to collaborate with people and organizations who believe in the power of storytelling, connection, and meaningful change.

Whether you need a speaker who can make an audience laugh and think, a creator who can turn complicated topics into relatable content, a podcast host who isn't afraid of uncomfortable conversations, or a community partner who knows how to bring people together, I'm your girl.

Let's create something that matters, and maybe ruffle a few feathers along the way.
